I’m a Senior Software Engineer and Technical Lead with 15+ years of experience designing, building, and modernizing enterprise web applications, APIs, and distributed systems across SaaS, healthcare, life sciences, government, and large-scale enterprise environments.

My core expertise is in PHP and the broader web development ecosystem, with extensive experience in Laravel, Symfony, JavaScript, SQL, REST APIs, Docker, AWS, and CI/CD. I enjoy working across the stack—from designing backend services and database architectures to building interactive web applications—and I’m particularly interested in solving the architectural and performance challenges that emerge as systems and data grow.

I have a strong focus on software quality and maintainability. Throughout my career, I’ve worked with PHPUnit, Cucumber/Gherkin, TDD, automated CI/CD, code refactoring, and containerized development to make complex systems more reliable and easier to evolve. I also enjoy mentoring engineers, contributing to technical direction, translating business requirements into technical solutions, and collaborating closely with product and engineering teams.

My current work increasingly incorporates Python, data engineering, cloud services, and AI-assisted development. I’m particularly interested in using these technologies to automate workflows, analyze complex datasets, improve developer productivity, and build intelligent features into practical software applications.

Outside of my professional work, I actively develop and maintain a Laravel-based personal software platform that combines Laravel, JavaScript, Python/FastAPI, MariaDB, Docker, APIs, and interactive data visualization. It gives me a place to experiment with new architecture and technologies while continuing to build software simply because I enjoy solving interesting problems.

I’m particularly interested in senior engineering opportunities where I can remain hands-on with the code while contributing to architecture, technical strategy, mentoring, and the development of products that solve meaningful problems.
